These Terms apply to use of mrledscreens.com.au and purchases from MR LED Screens. MR LED Screens is operated by 8 Arms Pty Limited (ABN 72 147 723 402). “We”, “us” and “our” mean 8 Arms Pty Limited trading as MR LED Screens.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Website use

You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not interfere with its operation or security; introduce malicious code; scrape or copy content contrary to law or our rights; impersonate another person; submit false information; or use the website to infringe another person’s rights.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, customers, systems or legal rights.

Product information and technical suitability

We take reasonable care with product descriptions, images, model numbers and specifications. Colours, packaging and minor product appearance may vary. Manufacturer specifications and product availability can change. We will correct material errors when identified.

LED display components are technical products. Before ordering, check the exact model/part number, voltage, current, power rating, connector and pinout, dimensions, firmware, environmental rating and system compatibility. Installation and electrical work must be performed by an appropriately skilled or licensed person where required.

Customer-supplied requirements and system information must be complete and accurate. Assistance we provide does not replace engineering, electrical, safety or site-specific advice. This does not limit liability for misleading representations, negligence or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Orders and contract formation

Submitting an order is an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted. We may perform payment, fraud, stock, freight and compatibility checks. A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance or dispatch the goods, whichever occurs first.

We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance for a legitimate reason, including a material pricing or description error, unavailable stock, payment failure, suspected fraud, supply restriction or delivery limitation. If we cancel after receiving cleared funds, we will refund the affected amount. Nothing in this clause permits misleading pricing practices or removes statutory rights.

Contact us immediately if you request a cancellation. We cannot guarantee cancellation after acceptance, supplier commitment, configuration or dispatch. Statutory rights and the Returns and Refunds Policy continue to apply.

Prices, GST and payment

Unless clearly stated otherwise, prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Delivery and any disclosed additional charges are shown separately. You authorise the selected payment provider to charge the amount confirmed at checkout.

We may change future prices and correct genuine errors, but will not impose an undisclosed higher price on an accepted order without agreement. Promotions may have separate terms.

Stock, imported goods and special orders

Some products are imported, supplier-stocked, backordered or special ordered. Stock indicators and lead times are estimates based on available information unless expressly guaranteed. We will contact you about a material supply issue and provide options required by law.

Packaging, labels or included documentation may differ between production batches, provided the goods remain consistent with the contract and applicable guarantees. Imported status or manufacturer location does not exclude Australian Consumer Law obligations.

Special-order or configured products may not be eligible for change-of-mind cancellation or return after supplier commitment or configuration. This does not affect remedies for faulty, unsafe, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods.

Delivery

We currently deliver within Australia only. Delivery is governed by our Shipping Policy. Estimates are not guarantees, but we will comply with obligations concerning delivery within an agreed or reasonable time. Risk, loss and delivery issues are subject to applicable law and cannot be shifted where doing so would unlawfully limit customer rights.

Returns, faults and warranties

Our Returns and Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms. A Returns Authority number and return instructions must be obtained before sending goods. This administrative requirement does not extinguish rights under the ACL.

Any voluntary or manufacturer warranty is additional to statutory rights. Imported status, supplier arrangements or a manufacturer process does not remove obligations we have as seller under the ACL.

Accounts and customer information

You must provide accurate information and keep account credentials confidential. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. We may take reasonable steps to verify identity, orders or payment information.

Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

Website content, branding, layout, text, graphics and other materials are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and use the website for legitimate personal or internal business purchasing purposes. You must not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit protected material without permission, except as permitted by law.

Manufacturer names, product names and trade marks remain the property of their respective owners. Their use identifies compatible or genuine branded products and does not imply an appointment, accreditation or relationship unless expressly stated.

Third-party services and links

The website may use or link to Shopify, payment services, carriers, manufacturers and other third parties. Their separate services may have their own terms. We are not responsible for an independent third-party website merely because it is linked, but this clause does not exclude responsibility we have for suppliers or service providers acting on our behalf where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Reviews and submitted content

If you submit a review or other content, you confirm it is genuine, lawful and does not infringe another person’s rights. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and reasonably adapt it for operating and promoting the store. We may moderate content for lawful and legitimate reasons. We will not manipulate reviews or publish fabricated reviews.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss caused solely by unauthorised misuse, installation contrary to documented requirements, incorrect customer-supplied information, incompatible third-party equipment not reasonably disclosed to us, or events outside reasonable control.

Where liability can lawfully be limited, liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence, breach of an applicable consumer guarantee or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Consequential-loss rights under the ACL, including reasonably foreseeable loss caused by a failure, are not excluded.

Business customers

The ACL can protect qualifying business purchases. Consumer guarantees may not apply to goods acquired for resupply or, in some circumstances, for use or transformation in production, manufacture, repair or treatment of other goods. Small businesses may also have protections concerning unfair standard-form contract terms. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that apply by law.

Changes to the website and these Terms

We may update the website and these Terms prospectively. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights or alter an accepted order without agreement or lawful basis. The current version and last-updated date will appear here.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia. The parties submit to courts and tribunals with jurisdiction, subject to any right to bring a claim in another forum that cannot lawfully be excluded.
